Akshay Kumar’s ‘PadMan’ Gets Release Date April 2018

Akshay Kumar seems to be super happy doing cause driven films. While Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is about to release, the actor has been simultaneously working on yet another awareness film, Padman.

Akshay Kumar's PadMan will release on April 13 next year. The film also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The film marks the debut of Twinkle Khanna as a producer. Meanwhile, Akshay is busy with promotions of Toilet Ek Prem Katha.

Padman is a biopic of an entrepreneur named Arunachalam Muruganatham residing in a small town of Tamil Nadu, who invented  low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awarnness in rural area. 

Apart from Padman and Toilet, Akshay was also in the news for winning the 'Most Beautiful Man of the Decade' at the Vogue Beauty Awards 2017. Accepting his trophy on stage, the actor read out a speech prepared by Twinkle that read.

Akshay Kumar is currently promoting his upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha co-starring Bhumi Pednekar. This film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and its plot revolves around Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. This film will release on 11th August. After this Akshay has many movies in his kitty. He will also be seen in Reema Kagti’s Gold. It is about India’s first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 at Games of the XIV Olympiad, London. It’s all set to release on Independence Day 2018. He will also be seen in a biopic on music maestro Gulshan Kumar which is titled as Mogul.
